My favorite job was working at a summer camp as a camp counsellor when I was at university – I did it for three summers.  It was such a fun job and in a beautiful location.  I was counselor to a group of 7 year old girls and also worked in the gymnastics department as a coach.  The camp was in New Hampshire, on Lake Winnaupausaukee and is one of my favorite places in the world now.  The kids were lots of fun and I made great friends working there.

While we were there we did a lot of the tourist things as she had never visited before.  We went up the Empire State building, up the Rockefeller Center, we visited the Guggenheim, walked through Central Park and went to see the Blue Man Group at the Astor Place Theater.  We also bought a bus tour package and did open-top bus tours of different parts of the city – the downtown bus tour, the uptown bus tour and a night bus tour that took us around Manhattan in the evening and then across to Brooklyn.

I used a wholewheat base which was bought from the grocery store and then added my own toppings.  I used fresh roma tomatoes from my garden for the tomato sauce and added some tomato paste to these to create the tomato base for the sauce.  I also added red onions, ham, pineapple, fresh slices of mozzarella, a mix of Italian cheeses and cooked the pizza in the oven for around 15 minutes.  Once it was ready I added fresh basil, also from the garden and sprinkled it on the top of the pizza.  I served it with a nice fresh salad.

I have a Masters degree in Psycholinguistics and am currently working on my PhD in the same subject.  I became interested in the subject while I was studying for my undergraduate degree, in communication.  My main areas of interest in research are language development in children, theory of mind and audience design and for my PhD I am particularly interested in researching whether these aspects of language can be taught.  This follows on from my Masters research which compared direct learning versus vicarious learning in communication tasks.

Fire is a common hazard which we face in our daily life. It is caused due to the miss-management of people or due to accidents it results in injuries, damages to properties, life, etc…. and it can be controlled by using methods like first aid, using fire extinguishers, and to call emergency numbers for help. Fire extinguishers are used in major buildings, industries, laboratories, etc….. fire extinguishers are used in small fire crisis. And it is sufficiently eradicates the problem caused by mere spraying of the fire extinguishers and it can minimize the fire till the fire engine arrives for help. Hence it is a good mode of emergency prevention which helps us to save number of lives so thanks the portable automatic fire extinguisher.

Bikram is a form of yoga which is done in a hot room – the room is heated to about 102 degrees.  It is supposed to be really good for health, strength, fitness and detoxing.  I really enjoyed the class today, which was only my second class although it was a bit of a struggle to stay in the hot room for the whole 90 minutes.  After yoga, I went to the store to pick up a few things and then I went home, had a shower and made dinner.  In the evening I chilled out and had a lazy evening watching TV.

If you have a family it is critical that you protect them and your home from the risk of fire. Proper fire safety preparation can save a loved one’s life. Standard AFFF fire extinguishers in the home and especially in your kitchen can allow you to quickly extinguish small fires. Emergency evacuation plans with agreed upon meeting locations outside of the home can quickly alert you to anyone trapped within your home should a fire occur. Practicing a fire drill with young children can be fun, and best of all can help protect them. It may sound silly, but young children need clear guidance on how to react in a fire emergency.

I guess Id like to talk about movies and how they do not make them quite like they use to back in the day. No I am only 42 yrs old but I love the old black and white movies as well movies of today and yesterday. I just miss some of the ways they made movies and the originality that they had and being creative to. Not making another movie again that was already made and re making it over and over again it gets old to me in my opinion anyhow. It is like when we were able to buy pop for 20 cents or so and that was a bottle of pop to in a glass and candy for usually a dime or so. Ice cream to was maybe a quarter or so I believe but I just remember being able to go out and buying allot of things for a under a buck and being happy about it to when I was a kid.

Well to start with I live in a City that has that small town feel which we love not to much or to little just right for me and my family. Most of us know each other when going to maybe the same store where they get to know you. Living in Iowa has been great as we love the people and the just the nature that you get to see everyday with birds and animals of all kinds as well as just being somewhere that people just seem to act like normal people well sometimes they do lol.

I wore my carpi jeans blue jeans that is and a white top with a pink pull over sweater vest and tennis shoes to boot. I love wearing casual clothing specially being mom and on the move I have to most days but I also try to dress up as well when I have a school meeting or doctors visit or something we are doing where I feel I want to dress up a bit more.  Most of my clothes are casual and some dress and some everyday clothes to toss on when I have to run out and take my son on the bus in the morning but always making sure my hair is at least combed to lol.
