A Lifetime at Rogers

I started my first real part time job when I was 16 years old.  It involved calling magazine subscribers to verify their orders and it was very monotonous.  We had a script to follow and designated answers to various questions that may arise.  When I finished school, I was offered a full time position, and until 2 years ago had stayed with the company, only changing departments once.  My total time employed at Rogers was 15 years.  I can’t say that I liked my job, but I liked the people I worked with.  That is what kept me there for so long.  The benefits were great and the pay was mediocre.  I never would have left, but unfortunately, due to the economy, there were mass layoffs and I was one of them.  Luckily, it was a change for the better and I’m very happy with where I am now.
