Not Exactly Working in a Coal Mine
I’ve had several different jobs. I’ve been a hostess, a senior-project manager, an antiques store clerk, an office manager, an executive assistant, a software trainer, a website designer, an Operations Liaison to the Sales Department, and a remote secretary. I think the jobs that I liked the most were as a senior project manager and a software trainer. The project management position was fun, and I got to interact with clients and employees a lot, a sort of management without pressure position. Software training can also be very rewarding, as it tends to be a different job with each client. You never know what their strengths and weaknesses as a company are until you get there.
