Fire safety should be something you worry about in your home. Always check and make absolutely sure that your smoke detectors have batteries and work. This can be done by pushing the “test” button on the detector. Also, check the tag on the foam fire extinguisher and make sure that it was inspected and filled by a professional. There is a gauge on the extinguisher that will tell you how much pressure it has. Most of them will have it coded like a red light. Red meaning that you should definitely have it filled, yellow meaning that you probably should check into it, and green meaning it full and ready to go.
